15 years of transforming my mind into brain!!!

15 years back when I walked into the gate of a building which my mumma assured me is what they call it a school; my tiny fingers holding my mumma's hand and with a water bottle hanging down my neck and a small fluffy little bag resting on my back, never could I fathom that I would end up writing this post recounting how much have I loved my school life. With endless tears rolling down my cheeks and my head stuffed with a raw mind (which I didn't even know what it means), I entered my classroom and right then and there started this perpetual process of transforming my 'mind' into a 'brain'. From learning to shape A, B, C, D,...to piping up the correct pronunciation, all through the while my mind has been transformed into a brainy brain! Now when I sit down flipping through the pages of this cherished book of my collected memories, I recall all those stupid, silly, innocent moments when I peed into my pants and when my friends peed into their pants, when I cried because my friends teased me and when I teased till my friends cried, when we shared a five rupees canteen ka samosa and when we fought for a paanch waali kit-kat!! These vibrant colors in the pages of my life dazzle me inside and out whenever I reminisce these treasured recollections. Looking down my memory lane, those undone shoelaces and half open dizzied morning eyes unfailingly leave a smile on my lips. Those 15 years of my life when I grew to learn and learnt to grow so beautifully epitomize my innocence being transformed into intelligence. Moving on each day laughing and giggling and crying and worrying and shouting and screaming, every day I learnt something new. With never ending deadlines and projects and assignments I learnt to be punctual. Those unpleasant scoldings of teachers and numerous episodes of "Get out of my class!" punishments now become all the more amiable when looked upon superficially. Such is my book of life colored with the vivacious colors of this second home. And after 15 years of this crazy journey through the thick and thin of my life's stages, here do I stand with my naive mind now completely transformed into an astute brain preparing itself to enter into an another world full of constant changes and changing constants...
So..to all my dear friends!
Sing your songs, dream your dreams, hope your hopes and pray your prayers. Enjoy these little things in your school life for one day you may look back and realize that they were the big things!
